This role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems, data entry skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within the human resources department.
Responsibilities
Process payroll for employees in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy in hours worked and pay rates.
Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS system.
Collect and verify timekeeping information for employees.
Update payroll records.
Prepare journal entries related to payroll activities.
Assist with new hire on-boarding process.
