Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities consist of visitor relations and conducting counter sales of tickets, memberships, food, and ski rentals. Visitor relations include, but are not limited to: greeting visitors, answering visitor questions concerning the property and the ski program, promoting the mission of The Trustees of Reservations, ticket and membership sales and record keeping. Additional responsibilities include, maintaining the café area, lighting and managing fires in the wood stoves, sales of candy and ski wax, etc., snowshoe rentals, and updating the snow report daily. The ranger is also expected to protect visitor safety by explaining and enforcing rules and regulations and assist with emergencies.
