Long-term Sub: Upper School Math Teacher, Grades 6-8 (0.8 FTE)

Position Description

This position is available immediately with the prospect of converting to regular faculty in August 2025. This is a long-term substitute role intended to commence once hired and go through the remainder of the school year.

Burke’s seeks a math teacher for Upper School grades (6-8) who can inspire a passion for mathematics by modeling best practices in teaching and implementing student-centered, inquiry-based lessons that develop skills and conceptual understanding. Emphasis is placed on real-world applications, problem-solving, and effectively communicating one’s understanding in a variety of ways.
