Psychiatrist (IME)

We are seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Psychiatrist to join our team in Hurley, VA. This position focuses on Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to select or decline cases based on your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review Medical Records: Analyze and assess patient medical documents related to psychiatric conditions.
• Conduct Evaluations: Perform in-person psychiatric evaluations of patients for IME cases.
• Address Clinical Questions: Respond to clinical inquiries from insurance carriers regarding psychiatric matters.
• Prepare Reports: Deliver detailed IME reports within an expected turnaround time of 5 days.

This opportunity provides the ability to customize your schedule and caseload within the week while maintaining client-mandated turnaround times. Our reviewers are compensated on a per-case basis as a 1099 independent contractor.

Preferred candidates will hold a WA license and be certified, or willing to become certified, with the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries (L&I).
