Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver High-Quality Care: Perform routine exams, diagnostic procedures, surgeries, and manage complex cases while adhering to Tandem’s preventive care philosophy.
  • Lead Client Education: Communicate treatment plans, follow-up steps, and preventative strategies to pet owners—fostering trust and long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate Across Services: Coordinate with mobile clinic staff, telehealth vets, and on-site technicians to maintain comprehensive patient records and seamless care transitions.
  • Provide AI-Enhanced Consultations: Utilize decision-support tools and intelligent scheduling systems to improve outcomes and reduce errors.
  • Contribute to Process Improvements: Offer insights into clinic workflows, technology enhancements, and protocol updates to help shape Tandem’s evolving model.
  • Uphold Clinical Standards: Stay current with industry best practices, maintain compliance with licensing regulations, and champion Tandem’s culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • License & Experience: [e.g., “DVM or equivalent, licensed in Masachusettes with 3+ years of clinical experience.”]
  • Clinical Proficiency: Skilled in general medicine, surgery, and diagnostics; experience with telehealth or mobile services a plus.
  • Technological Aptitude: Comfortable using digital tools and open to learning new AI-based workflows.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to educate clients, write clear medical records, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to Preventive Care: Passion for educating pet owners and engaging in proactive, wellness-oriented strategies.
