Automotive Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including electrical, suspension, brake, and engine systems
• Conduct regular maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid exchanges
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately and recommend appropriate solutions
• Keep detailed records of services performed, parts used, and any recommendations for future repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols
• Collaborate with Service Advisers to provide excellent customer service and clear communication regarding vehicle status
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices through ongoing training and education

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician or in a similar role
• State Or ASE Certifications
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostic tools and repair techniques
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
• ASE certification or equivalent training is highly desirable
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required for specific vehicles
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in automotive technology or related field is a plus
