Pediatric Physical Therapist:

  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000.

Requirements

  • EDUCATION:
  • A valid license to practice physical therapy in New York State is required at the time of hire, or the candidate must be eligible to obtain such a license.
  • EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
  • CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR) REQUIREMENTS:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of the hire date.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Position requires significant physical activity, including occasional repetitive motions. Responsibilities may include lifting, pushing, and pulling. The candidate must be capable of lifting a minimum of thirty (30) pounds independently and up to one hundred fifty (150) pounds with the assistance of another individual.
  • EXPOSURE CATEGORY:
  • Category II. Duties do not involve exposure to blood, bodily fluids, or tissues; however, the role may necessitate undertaking unplanned Category I tasks.
  • INFECTION CONTROL:
  • Must adhere to all aspects of universal precautions while providing patient care.
