Software Engineer

Royal Digital Commerce is on the lookout for a talented Software Engineer to join our growing tech team. As a leading player in the digital commerce sector, we are dedicated to developing innovative software solutions that improve the online shopping experience for our clients. In this role, you will collaborate with other engineers, designers, and product managers to create scalable and efficient software applications. You will be responsible for writing clean, maintainable code and participating in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment. Moreover, you will be involved in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing applications to ensure they meet the needs of our users. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using best practices and development standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability of applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance existing systems.
• Assist in the deployment of applications and ensure proper maintenance and support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Django) and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
