Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) in Maryland

Ellington Solutions is seeking qualified candidates that will:

• Become part of a team that provides information security solutions to enable secure data transactions and to identify and prevent unauthorized activities.
• Conduct assessments of system security vulnerabilities and develop appropriate solutions.
• Deliver security services for enterprise-level networks, servers, desktops, and applications.

Requirements

The qualified candidate will have:

• U.S. Citizenship (Required)
• Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance (Required)
• DOD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2; must be either CISSP or CASP (Required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college.

As an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) you will join a team that delivers information security solutions that facilitates secure data flows and the detection/prevention of unauthorized behaviors, performs system security vulnerability assessments and solution development, provides enterprise-level network, server, desktop, and application security services.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Seven (7) years’ experience as an ISSE on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
