Prestage Foods in St. Pauls is looking for a Staff Accountant to perform a variety of accounting and financial duties. You will also run accounting software programs to process daily transactions and month-end entries. A successful Staff Accountant should be familiar with all accounting procedures, be very detail-oriented, and be an initiative-taker. We are looking for an AP Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately maintaining financial records related to accounts payable. You will ensure efficient invoice processing, timely payments and accurate recording of financial transactions while keeping detailed and organized records of vendors. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, task focused, and comfortable communicating with vendors and internal managers. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and support audits and month/year end closing processes.
