Director, Foundation and Major Gifts

Acadia Center is seeking an experienced professional to strengthen its philanthropic efforts across the organization, collaborating with program and communications staff to inspire and secure foundation support and major gifts for priority programs. The Director, Foundation and Major Gifts, will plays an essential role in working with the president, program and development staff to strengthen and expand foundation networks and major gift development. The position will update the organization’s development plan and strategies and have a lead role in shaping materials and outreach efforts. The position will have the opportunity to help establish a professional fundraising and donor relations function, which will require managing relationships with Acadia Center’s current, long- standing donors and funders, as well as driving efforts to broaden Acadia Center’s donor base.
