Senior Accountant

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - FULL-TIME POSITION - NO RELOCATION PROVIDED - MUST BE CURRENTLY IN THE GREATER PHOENIX, AZ

Position Overview:

Join a growing organization as a Senior Accountant responsible for maintaining accounting operations across three locations. This role offers an opportunity to drive financial excellence while ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead month-end close process and manage general ledger accounting for multiple locations

- Prepare and analyze financial statements for senior management presentations

- Perform complex account reconciliations, including bank and intercompany accounts

- Conduct job cost analysis and identify process improvements

- Support AR & AP functions during peak periods

- Develop and update accounting policies and procedures

- Partner with internal/external auditors and various business functions

- Maintain critical financial datasets and KPIs

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

- Min 3 years of progressive accounting experience

- Strong knowledge of US GAAP

- Advanced Excel, Access, and PowerPoint skills

- Experience with ERP systems

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Outstanding communication and presentation skills

- Proven ability to work independently and adapt quickly

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
