JOB SUMMARY
The Leasing Coordinator is responsible for directly running the ongoing marketing of SoLa’s leasing department and for the collection of documents for all rental applications. The Leasing Coordinator reports to the Associate Director of Leasing and assists with managing day to day activities leasing team to ensure minimal downtime on available units and prospect/third-party inquiries; place ads on various websites, ensuring 3rd party move-in inspections are completed, assisting in open house events, and consistently assisting with the lease-up of available units.
***PAY RATE: $22.00-$24.00 PER HOUR***

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
● Greet clients, assess needs, answer questions and provide tours of the properties and units
● Process applications and prepare lease agreements
● Respond to in-person, phone and email inquiries, which includes providing leasing information, making appointments and creating and following up with maintenance requests
● Provide excellent customer service and assist all clients with a positive and friendly tone
● Market units on various website platforms (Craigslist, AffordableHousing.com, Apartment.com, etc.)
● Support overall marketing techniques and offer suggestions that can help in the promotion, advertising, and marketing of properties
● Maintain an accurate and thorough knowledge of all aspects of leasing, pricing and availability of SoLa units
● Prepare leases, complete Section 8 Docs (Request for Tenancy Approval Packages), and deposit documents from various organizations, etc.
● Schedule inspections in a timely manner and follow-up as needed
● Serve as support for the Senior Leasing Coordinator and Associate Director of Leasing
● Complete other tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
● Minimum 2 years experience relatable leasing and property management experience
● High school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
● Yardi CRM and Rent Café experience preferred
● Basic understanding of the apartment leasing process required
● Affordable housing experience preferred; knowledge of Section 8 requirements a plus
● Experience with HACLA/LACDA/TLS and other local agencies preferred
SKILLS & ABILITIES
● Proficient in MS Office
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
● Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment
● Ability to present information in a concise and easily understood manner
● Collaborative with the ability to handle requests from multiple team members
● Interest in marketing and property management
● Well-developed time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
