POSITION SUMMARY
Performs the diagnosis, removal, repair and replacement of various motor coach parts without supervision.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Diagnosis, removal, repair and replacement of diesel engines
- Diagnosis, removal, repair and replacement of drive line components, including transmissions, drive shafts and differentials
- Diagnosis, removal, repair and replacement of engine and body accessories, including heating and air conditioning components, alternators / generators, voltage regulators, suspension components
- Diagnosis, removal, repair and replacement of braking systems
- Diagnosis, removal, repair and replacement of electrical systems and components
- Diagnosis, removal, repair and replacement of seating, steering components and glass installations
- Directs/assigns coach movement to Garage Helper/Bus Washer with CDL.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (with air brake and passenger endorsements).
- EPA air conditioning certification required.
- Must furnish all small hand tools required to perform the functions specified above. Generally, this includes all tools at and below a ½” drive level.
- Must be proficient in welding equipment, diagnostic devices (including DDEC and ATEC readers), A/C (Freon) recovery and charging equipment, and shop equipment (including hydraulic presses and rams, pullers, manometers, tachometers, decelerometers, VOA instruments, dial indicators, micrometers, reamers, hones, vacuum and compression pumps, brake lathes and other shop power tools).
- Must be able to perform responsibilities with no supervision.

Hourly Rate: $54.00 - $57.50
