Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAFe Scrum Master/Team Coach to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for fostering Agile excellence within teams and Agile Release Trains (ARTs). The ideal candidate will facilitate iteration events, remove impediments, and promote high-performing team dynamics, driving continuous improvement and guiding Agile teams toward self-organization and maturity.
Requirements
- Coach Agile teams in self-organization, Agile best practices, and participation in ART events.
- Drive Agile maturity by reinforcing Scrum principles, frameworks, and success patterns.
- Facilitate essential Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Support teams in navigating interpersonal conflicts, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Serve as a servant leader, providing mentorship and continuous learning opportunities to teams.
- Foster transparency by ensuring proper inspection of Agile artifacts and detecting process anti-patterns.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare teams for PI Planning and assist in drafting PI plans.
- Promote a variety of Agile methodologies, including SAFe, Kanban, and Lean principles.
- Utilize tools such as Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Align, and AgilityHealth to enhance Agile execution.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 8+ years as an Agile practitioner with experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
- SAFe 6.0 Product Owner/Product Manager Certification required.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the SAFe framework.
- Expertise in facilitating Agile ceremonies and driving team alignment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, and LucidCharts.
