Gelato Shop Assistant Manager - Part Time

Honeysuckle Gelato is excited to be opening a new retail shop in the Riverworks Retail and Restaurants area at Eastern Wharf in Savannah. Eastern Wharf is downtown Savannah's newest retail and restaurant destination located on the Savannah River at General McIntosh Boulevard and East President Street.

We are looking for a fun, friendly, smart, hard-working and fast person to be our assistant manager. You'll be scooping the best gelato and sorbet in the South while assisting the Store Manager in day to day duties. You will be scooping, tasting, and introducing customers to gelato and sorbets that are made from the highest quality ingredients. All of our gelato and sorbets are handmade in Atlanta.

This role is Part Time - 20-30 hours a week

Pay is hourly plus tips

Weekend and evening availability is required

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED; Be over the age of 18 years

Previous retail management or customer services/food service preparation experience

Have great communication skills, be professional, and friendly at all times

Ability to learn how to operate POS system and other equipment

Ability to frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 50 pounds
