Personal Care Attendant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide essential daily support to individuals with personal care needs, specifically assisting with restroom visits, changing soiled clothes, and ensuring overall hygiene. This position requires a caring and respectful individual who is comfortable working closely with clients throughout the day to maintain their dignity and well-being.

Requirements

Assist clients with safely navigating to and from the restroom, ensuring comfort and privacy.

Help with changing adult diapers and other personal care tasks related to hygiene, ensuring clients’ dignity is maintained.

Change soiled clothes and ensure clients are clean and comfortable throughout the day.

Monitor and assist with daily bathroom visits, making sure clients are attended to promptly when needed.

Provide general assistance with dressing and undressing in a private and respectful manner.

Ensure a clean and sanitary environment for clients at all times, adhering to infection control and hygiene standards.

Maintain clear communication with other team members to ensure seamless and coordinated care.

Be available to assist clients during scheduled bathroom breaks, and respond quickly to any immediate needs.

Observe and report any changes in client conditions to relevant health care professionals or family members.

Pay

• Starting at $18.00/hour

Physical Demands

• Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques
• Perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching for accessing spaces and performing ground-level activities
• Walk, stand, and engage in continuous physical activities during cleaning, maintenance, and outdoor tasks​
