Auto Mechanic

Are you a mechanic who enjoys working on all types of vehicles?

Our client, a municipal organization, is looking to add a Mechanic to its team. In this role, you will work on a variety of city owned vehicles and heavy equipment. Job responsibilities include:

• Performs engine, exhaust, electrical, brake, hydraulic, and transmission repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment.
• Completes scheduled preventative maintenance functions, including checking the condition of and operation of batteries, tires, lights, transmissions, exhaust systems, brakes, etc.
• Executes a variety of engine diagnostic procedures.
• May be dispatched to perform emergency roadside repairs on vehicles as required, troubleshoots, vehicle/equipment failures at job sites.

Pay Range is $20 - $23 per hour

Requirements

• Experience working on cars, trucks, diesel engines and heavy equipment
• Valid Indiana Driver's license
• Class B CDL license preferred but not required
