General Manager (Manufacturing)

Compensation:

Salary range: $110-130K with genuine bonus potential and profit-sharing. Full P&L and team accountability in an attractive, entrepreneurial work environment.

Overview:

A smaller, well-established, and growing manufacturer/distributor is seeking a seasoned manufacturing leader. This role is pivotal in repositioning the business for future growth, driving new customer acquisition and product development/rollout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full P&L Ownership: Drive profitability and cost management across the business unit.
• Manufacturing Leadership: Oversee all manufacturing operations and associated business processes.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop both direct and indirect reports, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Performance Metrics: Implement and refine key production metrics to continuously improve operational performance.
• Lean Culture Implementation: Champion a lean work environment to enhance efficiency and waste reduction.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and manage strategic and tactical plans and budgets aligned with growth objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, with a strong background in production planning, scheduling, quality control, safety, inventory management, and lean methodologies.
• Proven full P&L management experience.
