Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' mobility and function.
• Educate patients and their families about physical therapy treatments and home exercises.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of patient treatments.
• Advocate for patient needs and promote wellness within the community.

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient therapy or hospital environments.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment programs and outcomes.
• Knowledge of physical therapy modalities and techniques.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with the latest industry best practices.
