Senior System Engineer

Ellington Solutions is seeking out qualified candidates that will:

• Work to manage system requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems are compatible with the defined system architectures.
• Assist with the development of System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications and Interface Control Documents.
• Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based on the evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations.
• Mentor other team members and for leading small teams to accomplish objectives.

Requirements

The qualified candidate will have:

• U.S. Citizenship (Required)
• Active TS/SCI with FS polygraph (Required)
• IAT I certification (Required)
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university
• Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree
• At least twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of equivalent scope, type, and complexity
• Proven expertise in planning and directing Systems Engineering initiatives
• Knowledgeable in the following technologies: Linux, VMWare, and ESXi
• Capable of configuring and managing Unix and Windows operating systems and installing/load operating system software
• Skilled in troubleshooting, maintaining the integrity of, and configuring network components, as well as implementing operating system enhancements to increase reliability and performance
