Software Engineer

Ellington Solutions is seeking out qualified candidates that will:

• Develop, maintain, and improve software according to specified requirements.
• Evaluate and test software to ensure compliance with requirements and document findings.
• Address and resolve issue reports.
• Utilize tools and methodologies suitable for the software development environment.
• Contribute to design considerations, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and the application of COTS/GOTS, as well as requirements analysis and synthesis from a system-level down to individual software components.
• Assist with various complex, mission-critical projects that have a direct influence on the security and intelligence efforts of the nation.

Requirements

The qualified candidate will have:

• U.S. Citizenship (Required)
• Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance (Required)
• Bachelor's degree 
• An additional four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) in programs and contracts of comparable scope, type, and complexity.
• Extensive experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, particularly in developing Customer Entry Portals.
• In-depth knowledge of the core architecture and applications of ServiceNow, including Incident Management, Service Request, Change Management, Portal, Asset Management, and Knowledge Management.
• Proficient in utilizing ServiceNow Web Services, such as REST and SOAP.
