System/Network Administrator

Ellington Solutions is seeking out a qualified candidate that will:

• Support day-to-day IT operations, manage infrastructure, and provide help desk support.
• Operate, improve, and secure the IT environment (macOS, Windows, Linux, Cisco, Office 365, AWS, Atlassian Cloud).
• Maintain integrity and security of servers and systems.
• Identify and resolve hardware/software issues.
• Monitor and respond to infrastructure alerts.
• Research IT questions and advise users/management.
• Follow help desk procedures and document processes.
• Support and maintain user accounts.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, software, and licenses.
• Stay updated with system changes.

Requirements

The qualified candidate will have:

• U.S. Citizenship (Required)
• 7+ years of systems/network administration experience.
• Experience with macOS, Windows, Active Directory, ADFS, Exchange Server, WSUS, Office 365.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and network services (DNS, NFS, CIFS, DHCP, SMTP).
• Knowledge of system/network security and best practices.
• Scripting experience (Linux shell, PowerShell).
• Understanding of public key infrastructure.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to move IT equipment (up to 50 lbs) and service wires/equipment.
• Experience with multifactor authentication, Linux, AWS, Cisco devices, Atlassian Cloud, Jira Service Management, munki, autopkg.
• Preferred certifications: Cisco, Microsoft, AWS.
