Paraprofessional 30 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to join our dynamic team at Boston Speech Therapy!

In this role, you will support Special Education Teachers in providing individualized assistance to students with diverse learning needs in both classroom and therapeutic settings. Your commitment will make a significant difference in the educational experience of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of instructional activities as outlined by the Special Education Teacher
• Provide one-on-one support to students, helping them to engage and succeed in their learning environment
• Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions among students
• Support the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Assist with student assessments, data collection, and record-keeping
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a supportive and effective learning atmosphere

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Education or a related field preferred
• Previous experience working with children, particularly in special education settings, is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques is beneficial
