A1 DATASHRED is a local Boston document destruction company dedicated to providing reliable shredding services to both businesses and residents in the Greater Boston area, North Shore, South Shore, Metro-west in Massachusetts, and the southern part of New Hampshire. Established in 2005, our mission is to offer an easy and convenient way for customers to securely destroy their confidential documents. We pride ourselves on our well-trained and experienced staff who are eager to assist customers from their first phone call to the completion of the document destruction project. Our state-of-the-art shredding trucks enhance our ability to deliver top-notch service. We are currently seeking a motivated and diligent Route Driver to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enabling our customers to protect their sensitive information while ensuring that our operations run smoothly. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial shredding truck along designated routes in a timely manner.
• Collect and transport confidential documents from customers for secure shredding.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during pickups.
• Ensure the secure handling of sensitive materials throughout the collection process.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
• Accurately maintain records of pickups and document destruction services rendered.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding document destruction and transportation.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and commercial vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Good physical condition, able to lift and move heavy boxes and bins.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings or weekends when needed.
