Consolidated Aircraft Supply Co., Inc., based in Ronkonkoma, New York, is a leading FAA Part 145 repair station with EASA certification that has been operational since 1960. We specialize in providing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for aircraft accessories and rotables, with capabilities covering over 50,000 parts, particularly in ATA Chapter 24 Electrical Power. Our services include exchange/loan, outright sales, and aircraft on ground (AOG) support for a diverse clientele, including military and public sectors, cargo and private operators, as well as commercial airlines. We are seeking a dedicated Electronics Bench Technician to join our experienced team of technicians, engineers, and account managers. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the superior quality and efficiency of the electronic repairs and maintenance we offer to our global customers, contributing to the overall success and sustainability of our operations in the aerospace industry.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct electrical repairs and maintenance on aircraft accessories and rotables.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic testing on various electrical components and systems.
  • Document repairs and maintenance performed in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with the calibration and testing of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Work effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and service schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with EASA and FAA standards during repairs and inspections.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in electronics or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics repair or a related field.
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and EASA certification requirements.
  • Proficient in using electronic test equipment and tools, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and repair manuals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
