Head of Communications - Crypto

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Head of Communications - Crypto - this is an onsite position in New York.

We are a pioneering platform that enables anyone to create a coin in under 1 minute for free. Launched in January, the platform has quickly become the home of memecoin creation and trading on Solana, and by extension, the entire crypto space. The platform has generated over $500 million in revenue since March 2024 - attracting significant attention in the crypto community.

What Youʼll Do
As our Head of Communications, youʼll be at the forefront of shaping how the world sees us. This is not a maintenance role, itʼs a high-impact position where youʼll drive the conversation, challenge misconceptions, and position us as pioneers in the space.

• Lead PR, marketing & communications strategy by executing campaigns that strengthen our reputation, engage our community, and shift public perception.
• Be the bridge between us and the outside world by working closely with media, regulators, and industry leaders to ensure weʼre shaping the narrative, not just reacting to it.
• Navigate controversy with confidence. Crypto isnʼt always seen in the best light, and we need someone who can turn scepticism into intrigue and excitement.
• Support product launches & feature rollouts by making sure every innovation we build is communicated in a way that excites users and strengthens our position in the market.
• Front-run turbulence by anticipating challenges, craft strategic responses, and ensure we remain in control of our messaging through market shifts and regulatory discussions.

Requirements

5+ years experience as head of Communications in a reputable organization i.e FAANG or fast paced tech start up.

Must have worked in a fast-paced startup environment where you have took ownership of work from start to finish.

Extensive experience leading PR, Marketing & communications strategy that has successfully strengthened the brands reputation & engagement. (Please provide examples)

Experienced working extensively with Crypto Twitter & Social media platforms.
