Tradesmen International is looking for experienced Wallpaper Hangers to join our team in Cleveland, OH. As a Wallpaper Hanger, you will be responsible for installing a variety of wall coverings, ensuring quality workmanship, and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of interiors. We offer competitive rates up to $27/hour based on experience and skill.

Your role will involve preparing surfaces, selecting materials, and adhering wall coverings, all while maintaining a keen eye for detail and adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities

• Measure and cut wallpaper to fit specific wall sizes and patterns.
• Prepare surfaces for wallpaper application, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.
• Apply adhesives and apply wallpaper, ensuring precise alignment and pattern matching.
• Manage wallpaper installation projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality standards.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on previously installed wallpaper, addressing any wear or damage.
• Consult with clients to determine design preferences and resolve any issues that may arise during installation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Wallpaper Hanger or a similar role in the finishing trades.
• Strong knowledge of various wallpaper types, applications, and installation techniques.
• Ability to measure and cut accurately with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with surface preparation and installation tools.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and patience for intricate work.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work on ladders or scaffolding.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
