Hampton Inn & Suites in Mansfield, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team! If you enjoy janitorial duties, basic repairs, and preventative maintenance work - this is the job for you!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Ensures completion of all routine maintenance on guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-the-house spaces, and grounds.
• Complete and maintain records of building and guest room preventative maintenance, quarterly mattress turning, and pest control.
• Maintain and repair doors, furniture, hardware, windows, hang artwork and headboards, etc.
• Climb on ladders, stoop, push or pull heavy furniture, and grasp hand tools.
• Check and add chemicals to pool.
• Clean and paint all areas of the hotel.
• Keep the property grounds clean and well-maintained.
• Perform other general janitorial and maintenance duties in and around the hotel.
• Respond in a courteous manner to guest questions, complaints, and/or requests.
• Report to the property as needed to ensure guest satisfaction as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of skilled trade activities in plumbing, carpentry, electrical and mechanical work, and painting.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for the operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Skill in the use of a variety of skilled trade tools (including both hand and electric tools).
• Report work completed daily to a supervisor.
• Must be able to carry and lift 50 pounds; push and pull 100 pounds.
• Wear proper uniform at all times in accordance with the Standards of Appearance.
• Must have a flexible schedule; must be available as needed including holidays and weekends.
