Are you seeking an opportunity where you can have an impact on your community? Mental Health America of Greenville County is increasing its staffing and is hiring full-time Crisis Intervention Specialists to handle the 24/7 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline via phone, chat and text, offering support, information and referral, and crisis intervention. This is an onsite, overnight role which includes at least one weekend night.

Full-time positions offer 100% paid health, dental, life, and short-term disability.

Shifts available Overnights with at least one weekend night.

Full-time positions are eligible for prorated vacation, sick and holidays.

No experience is necessary. Training is provided.

Requirements

What you bring us:

Good listening skills and ability to maintain personal and confidential information

Competence with computer systems, data entry, and databases

Detailed-oriented and self-motivated

Professional phone manner with a clear speaking voice

Both dependable and reliable

It’s a plus if you have the following:

Previous experience volunteering or working in social services or non-profit fields

Completed some college-level courses
