  • Business to Business Sales 
  • Monday-Friday, 8-5 
  • $70,000-$90,000, including a $30,000 base salary  

Trelevate, an outsourced sales company, is looking for a driven and energetic salesperson to represent Gexa Energy to small and midmarket businesses in the Houston/Aldine area.  This role will act as a consultant to provide businesses with a pricing option that will allow them to better budget for their utility expenses and help them to save on their current costs.

What you do in a typical day:

  • Attend a morning team meeting (these will be virtual some days and in-person on others).
  • Grow and nurture your pipeline through daily in-person prospecting calls, follow-ups, and presentations with 35-40 businesses.
  • Manage your time and territory efficiently.  This role will entail minimal driving.  A territory planning tool is used that will target dense pockets of businesses that you will walk through before getting back in your car and driving to the next targeted area. 
  • Use a custom-built pricing tool to devise pricing plans that will provide the customers with a fixed rate for their electricity for a fixed period of time.
  • Update and follow-up with clients via your CRM tool.

Requirements

  • Energized to work in the field 85% of your workweek to build relationships with clients/businesses in your target market.
  • Adept at in-person cold-calling and in building rapport quickly.
  • Confidence and proficiency with current technology is a MUST.
  • Motivated to increase your income via uncapped commissions.
  • 4-year degree preferred, but not required.
