For one of our clients, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Certification and Accreditation Analyst, working remotely from the United States.
As a Cybersecurity Certification and Accreditation Analyst, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on information system authorization, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and risk management frameworks. You will be responsible for supporting the implementation of security controls, conducting risk assessments, and managing compliance documentation. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory standards, and authorization processes within a DoD environment. Your expertise will contribute to securing critical systems while collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders.
Accountabilities:
- Oversee the Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorization process, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and security evaluations of information systems to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage and maintain cybersecurity documentation, including system security plans and authorization packages.
- Utilize tools such as eMASS, Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint to track compliance and maintain security records.
- Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements to internal teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Certification & Accreditation (C&A), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and NIST cybersecurity compliance.
- Experience working with DoD cybersecurity policies and authorization processes.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance and eligibility for IT-II designation.
- Relevant cybersecurity certification meeting DoD 01 IAM Level III requirements.
- Strong understanding of NIST 800-82 and ISA/IEC 62443 standards (preferred).
- Experience with Operational Technology (OT) security and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) cybersecurity is a plus.
