Full Job Description

Echo Base is a private holding company pursuing special situation control investments in the digital assets space. Our global crypto team possesses deep experience in both the scaling of new ventures and the restructuring of complex assets with asymmetric risk profiles. Through lateral acquisitions, Echo Base seeks to leverage operational and technical synergies across our portfolio companies.

We are seeking a results-driven and strategic-minded Director of Revenue Operations to join our leadership team. This individual will assume a leadership position in the operations department and be responsible for driving revenue growth by synthesizing the work of our various business teams including revenue, marketing, brand, and business development. This role requires a blend of analytical prowess, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of revenue generation across various channels, particularly within the FinTech and cryptocurrency sectors. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth, improve top-line productivity, and enhance customer acquisition and retention.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with customer success teams to align strategies and improve customer acquisition, growth retention.
  • Developing and implementing scalable processes, tools, and systems to drive revenue, streamline operations, and improve efficiency.
  • Analyzing performance data to identify metrics, trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Providing strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership, based on data-driven analysis and architecture.
  • Gathering and analyzing customer feedback, preferences and behaviors to refine revenue strategies. Identify expansion opportunities to increase customer lifetime value.
  • Championing a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and diversity within the revenue operations team and across the organization. 
  • Develop and manage the department’s budget and ensure effective resource allocation.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in revenue generation and operations roles, with at least 3 years in revenue operations. 
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and operational excellence.
  • Deep understanding of sales and marketing processes, methodologies, and technologies, including all aspects of digital strategy and channels. 
  • Strong background in technology, fintech and/or cryptocurrency industries, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and trends. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business outcomes.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, unstructured environment and is able to manage multiple priorities, simultaneously.
