Position Summary

Open Range is looking for a motivated and dynamic Construction Sales professional to join our winning team. This role focuses on driving sales initiatives for our construction services in both residential and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the construction industry and a passion for building relationships with clients. Your expertise will help us to not only achieve sales goals but to also enhance the quality of the spaces we create.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect potential clients and cultivate relationships through networking, cold calls, and industry events.
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations to clients, showcasing Open Range's construction capabilities and previous projects.
  • Manage the sales process from initial inquiry to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for clients.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to develop comprehensive project proposals that meet client needs and budget.
  • Maintain detailed records and reporting of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions using CRM software.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging construction technologies to effectively present our advantages.
  • Become a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and innovative solutions to meet their construction needs.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and networking events to expand Open Range’s reach and reputation.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the construction industry, with a demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Experience with project management concepts and processes is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project specifications.

Personal Attributes

  • Exceptional communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage clients effectively.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A passion for the construction industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.

Benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000-90,000 per year
