Overview of Primary Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations for all locations to ensure all transactions are recorded compliance with dealership accounting processes and policies.
- Ensure all manufacturer accounts, including warranty claims, rebates, co-op advertising, etc. are current and accurate.
- Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for accurate accounting.
- Monitor receivables and ensure timely collection. Obtain reports from respective departments regarding collectability and monitor bad debt for both allowance and write off thresholds.
- Prepare AR risk assessment and communicate with departments managers.
- Prepare or review all monthly reconciliations for vendor statements. Research reconciling items and work with the proper parties to correct in a timely manner.
