This role is located 100% on site in El Paso, TX.
The Site Human Resources Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function for our US sites. Functional areas supported by the Human Resources Manager include employee relations, training, staff performance management, internal and external compliance, record retention, and safety.
Primary Responsibilities:
- The Human Resources Manager recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; employee relations, training and benefit programs as outlined by Corporate
- Plans, organizes and controls all activities of the department. Participates in developing department goals & objectives
- Administers all HR procedures and work instructions
- Advises Site Leader in appropriate resolution of employment relations issues
- Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier. Coordinates with Corporate HR Benefits to present safety meetings and acts as Safety Director for the site
- Establishes and maintains an infrastructure for employee rewards and recognition
- Prepares for site compliance audits and oversees metrics presentations to corporate officers
- Oversees onboarding and orientation of new employees
- Oversees personnel records are maintained according to legal and corporate standards. Administers the site Worker’s Compensation program by preparing and filing claims and reports of accidents and injuries, including the light-duty return to work program
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in the HR Field, preferably in a BPO (call center) environment; multi-site experience a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in an HR Management position
- Working knowledge of HR Department administration, and compliance with employment laws and regulations
- SHRM and/or HRCI certification preferred
- PHR/SPHR Certification preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
